Ty‘s story is one of redemption, grit, and relentless purpose. A former alcoholic, Ironman athlete,
and single father of four, he knows what it means to hit bottom—and rise stronger.
An Eagle Scout, rodeo cowboy, and longtime construction professional, Ty was raised with old-
school grit and a drive to work hard. But addiction caught up with him. Recovery—and the 12 steps
—gave him a second chance. Through endurance sports, discipline, and faith, he rebuilt his life
from the inside out.
Now a professional interventionist and founder of Forge Recovery Academy, Ty leads by example
—helping young men trade rock bottom for responsibility, purpose, and strength that lasts
Paul’s story is one of raw grit and relentless drive. Raised in New York by parents struggling with
addiction and shuffled through foster care, Paul was selling and using drugs by age 11 and a single
father by 16. But no matter how far he fell, he never stopped wanting more for himself—and for the
people he loved.
He held his first full-time job at 13. Put himself through college at 21. Spent years working railroad
jobs across the country. And through the 12 steps, spiritual growth, and unshakable hard work, he
rebuilt his life from the inside out.
Now a father of four and a man of deep purpose, Paul leads the recovery and vocational
programming at Forge. His life is proof that even the most broken beginnings can forge
something strong, faithful, and unshakable
